Senior SHEQ Manager

HSE Recruitment are working with a growing manufacturing company who are looking for a Senior SHEQ Manager based at their factory in Burntwood.

It is a really exciting time to join as they go through a positive transition phase in management, continue with their ambitious growth plans and open their new factory. 

Reporting into the Ops Director and managing team of 3, you will lead the SHEQ function for the business across the factory. You will be responsible for shaping and implement the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality strategy while overseeing the management of SHEQ policies, plans, systems, and training.  

You will :

• Lead and coordinate the team, setting and communicating the vision.  
• Work closely with other departments to achieve objectives, systems compliance, safety and quality culture and continuous improvement.  
• Ensure the business are meeting their legislative requirements/codes of practice while monitoring and reporting on department performance, guiding best practice and making suggestions for improvements.  
• Develop and maintain Quality, Environmental, and Health and Safety management systems that align with the requirements of current ISO standards.

What we are looking for:

• An experienced HSE Manager with people management experience.
• Manufacturing experience is essential- ideally chemical, pharma or FMCG but other manufacturing will be considered.
• NEBOSH Certificate level qualified as a minimum combined with the experience level we need. 
• ISO 14001 systems experience would be advantageous.

The salary on offer is up to £70,000 DOE + package.
